Nestled amidst the rugged terrain of Carmel, California, Mission Ranch provides a picturesque setting for weddings. I recently had the opportunity to photograph Shannon and Thomas’ wedding at this distinctive venue. The event was marked by an understated elegance, underscored by the scenic backdrop of the California sunset.

Upon arrival, it was clear that the wedding held a special ambiance. Guests adhered to a dress code of classic black attire, lending an air of sophistication to the rustic charm of Mission Ranch. Shannon, in her satin gown, and Thomas, in his black tuxedo, epitomized timeless elegance as they prepared for their vows.

Opting for a first look before the ceremony, Shannon and Thomas shared a private moment. Against the backdrop of the coastline and Mission Ranch’s pastoral landscape, they exchanged vows, their voices filled with emotion.
